and blasphemies:

and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.”

II. WE SEE HIS PERSONAL ATTACK ON GOD (6)

A. The Tongue Of His Blasphemy (6a)
“And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God,

B. The Targets Of His Blasphemy (6b-6d)

1. The Holy Person Of God (6b)
to blaspheme his name,

2. The Holy Place Of God (6c)
and his tabernacle,

3. The Holy People Of God (6d)
and them that dwell in heaven.”

III. WE SEE HIS PUBLIC ANTAGONISM TOWARD THE GODLY (7)

A. His Permission For Violence Against The Saints (7a)
“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints,

B. His Promise Of Victory Over The Saints (7b) and to overcome them:

C. His Power Is Validated As To Its Scope (7c-7e)

1. He Will Rule Over All Earthly Tribes (7c)
and power was given him over all kindreds,

2. He Will Rule Over All Earthly Tongues (7d) and tongues,

3. He Will Rule Over All Earthly Territories Of (7e) and nations.”
