I. A SUICIDAL JAILOR (Vs. 27-28)
A. The Fleeting Sleep (27a)
"And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep,"
B. The Fearful Sight (27b) "...and seeing the prison doors open,..."
C. The Fatal Sword (27c)
"...he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself,..."
D. The False Supposition (27d) "...supposing that the prisoners had been fled."
E. The Faithful Shout (28)
1. Paul's Manner Was Loud (28a) "But Paul cried with a loud voice,..."

II. A SEEKING JAILOR (29-31)
A. Notice His Swift Approach To The Worshippers Of God (29)
1. His Light Of Hope (29a) "Then he called for a light,..."
2. His Leap For Help (29b) "...and sprang in..."
3. His Look Of Horror (29c) "...and came trembling,..."
4. His Lowliness Of Heart (29d) "...and fell down before Paul and Silas,"
B. Notice His Simple Appeal For The Way Of God (30)
1. There Was A Swift Release Of God's Saints (30a)
"And brought them out,..."
2. There Was A Simple Request For God's Salvation (30b)
"...and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
C. Notice The Scriptural Answer From The Word Of God (31)
1. Shows Us The Simplicity Of Salvation (31a) "And they said, believe..."
2. Shows Us The Source Of Salvation (31b)
"...on the Lord Jesus Christ,..."
3. Shows Us The Surety Of Salvation (31c) "...and thou shalt be saved,.."
4. Shows Us The Scope Of Salvation (31d) "...and thy house."
III. A SAVED JAILOR (32-34)
A. The Convicting Word Of The Lord (32)
"And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all
that were in his house."
B. The Converting Work Of The Lord (33a)
"And he took them the same hour of the night,
and washed their stripes;..."
C. The Confirming Witness To The Lord (33b)
"...and was baptized, he and all his, straightway."
D. The Christian Walk In The Lord (34)
1. They All Shared A Common Food (34a)
"And when he had brought them into his house,
he set meat before them,..."
2. They All Shared A Common Fellowship (34b) "...and
rejoiced,..."
